1. They are smart
2. It’s possible they have no idea what you are talking about though
3. Build in context
4. Don’t talk down
5. Make complex steps easier, if not the first time then the next time they have to do it
6. Remember for them, data is golden
7. Listen to them
8. Give them what they really want
9. Don’t be afraid to surprise them
10. Delight them
