I have had a Cable Service since I have had tv and I don't regret it one bit. I have never heard any rave reviews about satellite; at best only mediocore. At least with cable, the signal doesn't get disrupted as often, it goes better with the newer, fancier, LCD HDTV's. Best hey, nothing is perfect!
