Intelligent design

by Ryan Lane on July 20, 2006

I totally want to take over the ownership of the phrase intelligent design. I think the religious movement has totally played it out. Now I think the term should be used to describe the application IA/UX to interface design. You know a bunch of intelligent people who know what they are doing a designing the experience.

I guess I could also be happy with design intelligence but it’s not as playfull. Although it could give BI’s a run for their money. Combine BI with DI to get an end to end solution before you hand off to the Dev Intelligence team.

Of cource adding “intelligent” doesn’t make it so. You have prove it with real user research. Hmmmm…. User intelligence. I like that because people don’t give enough credit to the real users often enough.
