Crazy Egg is a website tracking service that will record every click by a users on the site. Then it produces a heat map that is overlaid on your site, allowing you to understand what the users are doing. I think this would be really helpful with usability studies. I’d like to combine the heatmap with prototype test to evaluate what users are doing. Usually this can be determined from observation, but having the map is great way to show clients the results.
