Usenet research

I’ve recently switched to Comcast as my ISP. So far so good. I’ve heard a bunch of horror stories from others but I haven’t had any trouble as of yet. The only thing I have run into is trouble with usenet. All my other ISPs have included free unlimited access to usenets. Comcast does not they offer limited monthly access I downloaded a bunch of, um, stuff on March 1st and quickly maxed out my usage for the month. So I’m looking for other options. It seems that there are lots of options out there but most are a monthly fee of about $10 to $20. I feel that is too much to asking for the service here. I’d much rather sign up for a yearly service plan that’s around $30. I think that’s a much better price point for this type of add on service. I did some digging around to find some usenet providers and these were some useful sites that I found:

Check out Giganews.com. I used them for a few years.
