I’m very interested in these new services that help people make money online. From the new Google base with e-commerce, Edgeio and Amazon’s Mechanical Turk. There’s another new arrival to the online marketplace called Ether. It’s the e-commerce of service. In this case people search for skills and then call or email that person and pay for their time.
They supply the phone number and then you set up what hours you are available and your rate.
I’m thinking about setting up a spiritual / technical hotline. If you’re having trouble with your inner binary I can help.
I’m not sure that everyone wants to be a work at home call center, but I think this could be a good way for someone to make some quick consulting money. I could also see this as a good starting point for someone to increase their own personal brand awareness.
