digital paper and the Iliad

by Ryan Lane on December 20, 2005

digital paper and the IliadI don’t like posting something that I found on Gizmodo, I try to avoid that sort of thing. There always seems to be overlap though. In this case though I saw it there first and I must say that I’m very excited. iRex Technologies is showing off the prototype for the Iliad. This is one of the first commercial devices designed around digital paper with reading in mind. Combined with the fact that it’s fairly open and standards based too. Support for PDF, XHTML, plain text, MP3, and the like.

If they stick to their product description I will be the first person in line to buy one.
